Abstract
This study uses Macau, a city where Chinese and Western cultures intersect, as the context for the research, focusing on tourist souvenir stamps and their visual elements. Through field observation, interviews, and visual analysis, it explores how design facilitates the preservation and transmission of regional culture through tourist souvenir stamps and their associated usage behaviors. It uncovers the mechanism by which regional culture is disseminated with stamps as the core medium, extending to the transformation of local cultural symbols into a variety of souvenirs through different media—an important foundation for building a system of cultural regeneration within artistic and tourism contexts.
