Orfi
Abstract
ORFI is an audio-tactile interactive installation, an open interactive field. "OR" comes from origami and "FI" from field. ORFI also refers to Orpheus, the father of music in Greek mythology. He who according to the myth could make rocks dance… ORFI consists of many wireless connected interactive modules. The field is open to many interpretations, ways of interacting and roles to take. Bend the wings. Listen and look. Sing into the microphone. Interact and Co-create. Change music genre. Sit, feel and experience. Nothing is right. Nothing is wrong. The many possibilities, such as many mobile modules, many genres and media is our suggestion for how to facilitate communication and co-creation on equal terms. Communication between different users, in different and changing use situations, over long time. ORFI was designed by MusicalFieldsForever to facilitate communication on equal terms in families with children with severe disabilities.
